Visitor Reviews

"I’m not sure how many years it’s been since my last visit to Satoo, but I was so excited thinking about the seafood. With so many food options and only one stomach, it’s obviously impossible to try everything, but I still highly recommend the salad—it’s absolutely delicious. My mother even asked for an extra portion. Out of the many dessert options, I picked three that sounded the best: matcha, avocado, and fruit tart. None of them disappointed! Most importantly, they aren’t overly sweet."

— Vivien Hiu (5/5)

"The food selection is quite extensive: Western, Padang, seafood, Indian, sushi, and more, though the variety within each category isn't overwhelming. The flavors are decent overall. The matcha ice cream is tasty, but in my opinion, it's a bit too sweet."

— Kartika Sari (4/5)

"Located inside the Shangri-La hotel. The space is spacious and undoubtedly comfortable. The flavors aren't mind-blowing, but overall they are good and enjoyable. In my opinion, the Singapore Laksa is the best—extremely savory and creamy. The dessert section offers a decent variety of cakes and six flavors of gelato."

— Nandiati Putri (5/5)

"I purchased a voucher from the Shangri-La website for two people. Upon redemption, I was asked to pay an additional IDR 300,000 for the two of us. Even though the date was confirmed at the time of purchase, and the staff had handwritten on the guest check receipt that it was approved by Mr. Robby, I still faced this issue. My advice: do not sell lunch vouchers on the official website if you plan to charge extra upon redemption. The reason given was that weekday restaurant prices are normally much higher than blackout dates, but this should have been clarified upfront."

— William Shiawase (2/5)

"Enjoying lunch at Satoo Restaurant is always an unforgettable experience. My wife invited several friends, and they were all highly satisfied with the food and the staff's service. The staff also created a lively atmosphere with a fun 'Gonjrang gonjreng' surprise. Please maintain this wonderful flavor and excellent service; we will definitely return on our next visit."

— Doni Hardiyanto (5/5)

Overall, Satoo remains the definitive reference for high-quality all-day dining in Jakarta. With its mature menu variety, professional service, and highly strategic location, the restaurant successfully caters to diverse palates and dining needs. Advance reservations are recommended to guarantee comfort, particularly on weekends. Visit Satoo and experience firsthand why thousands of guests continue to return to this restaurant daily.
