Practical Tips for Visitors

For an optimal experience, wear comfortable footwear with excellent grip, as the trekking path consists of rocks and dirt that become slippery during rainfall. Bring a change of clothes if you plan to go canyoning, along with a light jacket, as highland temperatures tend to be cool. Monitor weather alerts, avoid visiting during heavy downpours, and always maintain environmental cleanliness.

Visitor Reviews

"Great experience. The path to the site is fairly gentle, access is easy, and there are many souvenir shops before reaching the waterfall. When we arrived, the water was crystal clear. We stayed so long that the water turned slightly brown, likely because it had started raining upstream. At the site, there are small warungs to buy drinks or noodles, restrooms, and seating areas (open pavilions) to enjoy the waterfall while eating or taking shelter."

"The trail to the waterfall takes about 15 minutes. Yesterday, we were accompanied by a 5th-grade student we met at the entrance to guide us around the area. The admission ticket is 20,000 IDR per person, payable at the lower counter, meaning you walk for about 5 minutes first. The trail is safe and not too steep. Our main goal was to watch a friend join a canyoning trip here. However, we ended up staying longer than expected. Next time, I’ll definitely bring a change of clothes because the water is incredibly refreshing."

— Aisyah Nur Lubis (5/5)

"Access to the site is good, but the descent is somewhat steep and the climb back up to the main road is challenging, so be careful, especially when paths are slippery after rain. The trekking route is quite physically demanding, so you should be in good condition when visiting. The water volume is large and clean, and the view is stunning. It is quiet in the morning, so if you want to enjoy the cool, lush atmosphere without crowds, visit early. Overall, highly recommended for anyone exploring the Gitgit village area."

It is perfect for those who enjoy mini-adventures, requiring a roughly 1-kilometer walk from the parking area to reach the site."
