Why Visit This Property

The resort's primary distinction lies in its strategic location, facing the ocean directly. Guests enjoy not only a restful retreat but also stunning visual access to the iconic black shoreline. The resort's buildings, strategically dispersed across the cliff area, provide privacy and tranquility, making it an ideal choice for travelers seeking a harmonious blend of modern comfort and natural beauty. Experiences to Enjoy

As a guest, you can enjoy the swimming pool facilities, a variety of room types, and a cliffside atmosphere that promotes relaxation. A standout activity is descending 120 steps along the cliffside to reach the shoreline. While this descent requires some effort, the scenery below, featuring black sand and powerful wave crashes, creates a memorable visual experience. Within the resort, guests can unwind in the lounge areas or take in ocean views from private balconies. Please note that some rooms are located in newer buildings situated further from the main facilities, so reviewing the room location map during booking is advisable.

Dining

The resort provides comprehensive food and beverage services for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The breakfast menu is served buffet-style, offering a sufficient variety to start your day. Menu availability may diminish over time, so dining during the initial opening hours is recommended. For more specific culinary experiences, guests may contact the restaurant department directly. Food prices align with four-star standards, and additional breakfast packages are available based on the number of guests.

Pricing and Entry Fees

The resort employs variable room rates depending on room type, season, and length of stay. According to current information, family rooms are priced at approximately Rp2,800,000 per night, while additional facilities incur separate charges. For precise rate details, please visit the official website or contact the resort directly. There is no entrance fee to the resort grounds for guests who have booked a room.

Operating Hours

The property operates on a full 24-hour basis to accommodate check-ins, check-outs, and general operational needs. Restaurant services and supporting facilities adhere to international hotel operating standards, with breakfast served in the morning and the main restaurant remaining open into the evening. For specific schedule confirmations, please refer to the official website or contact resort management.

Getting There

The resort is located at Jl. Queen of The South, Pantai, Parangtritis, Purwosari District, Gunungkidul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta 55872. From downtown Yogyakarta, the drive takes approximately one hour via private vehicle. The main route to Parangtritis is fully paved; however, parking areas and internal access roads around the resort consist of compacted earth, which can become slippery during the rainy season. Parking is available on-site, and comfortable footwear is recommended. The access roads are sufficiently wide to accommodate both cars and tourist buses.

Practical Tips for Visitors

To maximize your experience, early check-in confirmation is recommended to prevent delays in room preparation. Select a room category near the main facilities if easy access is a priority. Pack mud-resistant footwear, given that internal roads remain unpaved. While on the beach, heed warning signs regarding large waves and avoid swimming too far from shore. Finally, manage expectations regarding additional services and maintain direct communication with staff to ensure a comfortable stay.

Guest Reviews

"Our room turned out to be far from the beach access, far from the pool, and far from the restaurant, located in the new 5-story building. The extra bed was only installed at night after a 4-hour wait and two phone calls requesting immediate installation. Hotel management needs to evaluate various lines and service aspects to improve customer satisfaction."

"A family room priced at 2.8 million at a standard rate, but the condition was also just average... Check-in was delayed by 30 minutes because the room wasn't ready. After we entered, all floors were still wet because they had just been mopped... Fortunately, the view provided was absolutely amazing... Service and staff were all friendly. As for the food, it was very standard for the price we paid."

"A good hotel, positioned on a cliff directly facing the Southern Ocean of Java Island at Parangtritis Beach, Yogyakarta. If you want to go to the beach, you can descend from the hotel via the stairs along the cliff, totaling 120 steps. Parangtritis Beach has black sand and large waves; swimming too far from shore is not recommended due to the danger. The scenery is extraordinary, a great place to treat your eyes."

"The atmosphere of the restaurant and pool is indeed nice, and the service is prompt. However, it is a pity that several points that could and should be maximized remain overlooked: Access remains gravel, parking is still on compacted earth, so if it rains, shoes get dirty from sticking to the parking soil. The Romantic Room hallway, from morning to evening, the lights are not turned on and it feels stuffy."

— @Ari Fanani (2/5)

"The room was fine, only the road is still not in good condition. For breakfast, if there are extra guests, please charge them only at checkout. Do not ask for payment while we are eating, especially since we already stated upon entering the restaurant that we would pay at checkout. The beach is dirty and poorly maintained, which is a pity."
